100 Gravel Miles
King Price Race to the Sun is an exhilarating 100-mile gravel race from Hartbeespoort Dam to Sun City. Cyclists of every skill level are invited to participate in our race, conquering this challenge on a route known for its speed and flat terrain, encompassing a total elevation gain of 1000 meters.
50 Gravel Miles
The 50-miler is perfect for riders 16 years and older looking for a new challenge or those not ready to take on the 100-mile distance yet. Riders will start at the Halfway point at Beestekraal Kerk in Roodekoppies to Sun City.

Reliable Service Providers
King Price Race to the Sun is a point-to-point event, which means some extra planning is needed to get you, your bike, and your gear to the right place at the right time. To make things simple, we've partnered with reliable service providers to help with bike transport, shuttles and vehicle transfers.
Accommodation at Sun City
Make a weekend of it.
Sun City is offering exclusive accommodation specials valid for race weekend (29-31 May) weekend. Choose from the relaxed vibe of The Cabanas, the classic comfort of Sun City Hotel, or the luxury of The Cascades, all just minutes from the race finish.
Vehicle Transfers
100 Miler vehicle transfers are available from NG Church at Harties NG Kerk to Sun City at a cost of R900.
Simply park your vehicle in the designated parking area at the church and our team will drive it to Sun City in a secure convoy while you take on the race. When you cross the finish line, your car will be there waiting for you, ready for a smooth and hassle free departure after an unforgettable day on the bike.
Morning Shuttle
Book your morning shuttle for you and your bike from Sun City to Die Oewer and enjoy a stress free start to race day.
Drop your bike off on Friday, 29 May between 3pm and 6pm at the Sky Train parking area, located near the Sun City Resort entrance and exit. On race morning, the shuttle and all bikes will depart at 4:00am sharp to ensure you arrive at the start line on time and ready to ride.
Afternoon Shuttle
Leaving your car at the start? Book your afternoon shuttle for you and your bike from Sun City back to Die Oewer.
Three shuttles will run in the afternoon, with estimated departures at 2:30pm, 4pm and 6pm. Departure times are approximate and depend on rider finish times and bus capacity. Each shuttle leaves once full.
