Find all you need to know to get you from Beestekraal Kerk to Sun City in record time and with minimal hassles.

REGISTRATION
At registration, we will confirm your entry with your name and surname or Pursuit board number.
Please bring your Pursuit timing board to registration.
If you do not have a Pursuit timing board, you can buy one at registration for R60.
IMPORTANT TO NOTE: Please bring cash if you need to purchase a Pursuit board or any food and beverages at the Start Venue at Beestekraal Kerk. Cell reception is very poor and unfortunately, electronic payments will not be possible.
Express pre-Registration
If you’re a King Price client, registration is as smooth as a downhill glide. Just bring your phone, flash the King Price app, and roll right in via the red carpet lane.
START VENUE
50-Miler riders who are not being dropped off can park their vehicle at Beestekraal Kerk. A shuttle service is available from the Finish at Sun City back to Beestekraal Kerk after the race.
Please arrive at least 45 minutes before the start of your race.

bag drop
Riders can drop their bags at the Bag Drop Zone, located at Registration. All bags will be transported directly to the Finish Area for collection after the race. You can pick up your bag at the Faces Gazebo in the Finish Area.
Parking & Shuttle Information
General parking will be available at the venue. If you have booked the shuttle service back to Beestekraal from Sun City, please follow the 50-Miler Shuttle Parking signs inside Beestekraal. A digital access pass will be sent to you prior to the event, please present this at the venue gate to enter the shuttle parking area.
Start times
ROUTE INFORMATION
The new route throws in some serious excitement. Just before WP 1, you’ll roll into Sediba Kwele Adventure Camp, where hard-packed gravel makes for smooth riding. From there, the route weaves through farmlands, skirts a railway line, and then drops you at a small river crossing. If the water’s high, you might be carrying your bike for a short stretch (consider it a chance to stretch your legs). On the other side, a steep, rocky climb waits, one of the toughest tests of the day. Ride it or hike it, either way, it’ll leave a mark.
As the finish draws near, the surface alternates between gravel and tar, with the terrain demanding both endurance and focus. The final approach to Sun City is not without surprises, a sharp sting in the tail awaits just before the finish venue.

- 12 km from here to the finish!
- There will be toilet facilities at this WP.
WP3 Cut-off time: 17:15
Cut-off times will be strictly enforced to avoid riders being out on course after dark.

A sweep vehicle will follow the last rider to the finish.

If you’re unable to complete the race, please head to the nearest water point—our sweep vehicle will pick you up and take you back.

TECH ZONE
Visit the Specialized Tech Zone at Beestekraal Kerk before your race for last-minute bike checks and adjustments. The Liqui Moly chain lube station will ensure thirsty chains are oiled and lubricated. Look out for Tech Zones at the water points along the route. Our mechanics will be ready to assist with quick fixes to keep you rolling.

RACE RULES
King Price Race to the Sun is a CSA-sanctioned event and, as such, CSA race rules will apply.
Take time to read through our rules and regulations here.
The race is mainly on gravel but also public tar roads. Please obey all traffic rules when riding, keep left all times, and do not ride in the lane of oncoming traffic. Please display good rider etiquette and sportsmanship at all times, and keep the safety of other riders in mind.
TIMING & MEDALS
Finish Time is our official timing partner. Shortly after completing your race, you’ll receive an SMS with your official result.
To collect your well-earned medal:
1. Keep your result SMS ready
2. Present it to officials at the medal collection point
SPECTATORS
Spectators are only allowed at the Start (Beestekraal Kerk) and Finish (Sun City). No roadside spectating or support is permitted along the route. Violations may lead to rider disqualification.
Starting at Beestekraal Kerk, follow your GPS to Sun City, via Brits (click here for directions). This route is the safest option with clear, open roads.
FINISH
SUN PARK ARENA, SUN CITY
Cross the line in style at our spectacular finish chute in Sun Park Arena! With plenty of space to relax, you can soak up the atmosphere and cheer on fellow riders completing their race.
Celebrate your achievement with a refreshing Bavaria 0.0% or water at the finish line
Present your finish time SMS at the medal table to collect your well-earned medal
All supporters welcome – bring your friends and family to share your triumph!

GETTING THERE:
→ Use lanes 1 or 2 when entering Sun City’s main gate
