Gravel bikes are allowed. Modifications to your mountain bike are welcome as long as these modifications are safe for yourself and fellow competitors. Rigid forks and hardtails will do fine, as there is little to no corrugation on the roads. Although there are some tarred sections along the route, a road bike will not be able to handle the rest of the route.
GPS devices are compulsory. You need to be able to navigate the route with the supplied GPS maps. Basic markings will be in place, with route marshals along the way at any danger areas. If you have any questions regarding certain points, please contact info@advendurance.com.
